The largest smoking area or beer-garden in all of Dublin - sometimes called ‘Madigan’s [1] Square Garden,’ which includes a huge Bulmers bridge bar that can be climbed. Clientele are of the suited and moneyed variety especially in the upstairs section called ‘The Penthouse’, making the Madison-derived nickname all the more appropriate. One visit was perfectly sufficient, from a box-ticking point of view.
