Birthplace of W.T. Cosgrave, Ireland’s first unofficial Taoiseach, and a plaque in his honour is affixed to the exterior. This is a warm and welcoming abode with an honourable draught stout just a stone’s throw from St. James’s Hospital. Their salubrious wood burning stove delights in winter but became so warm after a time that we felt forced to wander on.
