Opposite Harold's Cross Park sits this dog friendly pub which lights a large open fire. There’s a beer garden for summer sipping. Crafty beers are emphasised and they know how to charge, costly very! They are known to remain open on Christmas Eve even when their nearby neighbours don't. They also, like McGowans and McGarrys, cater to the afters of funerals - as well they would, given Mount Jerome Cemetery’s proximity.
