173) The Harbourmaster of Custom House Dock, D1

Harbourmaster.jpg

A former harbourmaster house, this building dates back to the 1830’s. It’s an impressive building with an exterior clock tower. Inside, there are three floors, the top of which is a rooftop seating area. Unfortunately, its focus is fully on the restaurant, not the bar. Wallets beware, costly liquid! All in all, an interesting location and a dreadful pub, prohibitively expensive, devoid of atmosphere, charm or character.
