Family-friendly Kilmainham joint with some interesting period pictures on the walls. To be avoided if ever a match is on, for the crowding is something dreadful. Especially distinguished come the rosy sunset, when the lettering of 'Guinness' printed on the window shines brightly, in reverse, on the opposite wall, as 'ssenniuG'. One thinks of Dickens’ ‘mooreeffoC’.
