205) Connolly’s Bar - The Sheds of Clontarf Road, D3

This is a pub of two halves. The lounge is very traditional and king on comfort, but if one slips into the bar one feels the origins of the name, and it’s charming. A stark contrast of green and red tiles, small tables and wooden benches can be found. There’s still a spit and sawdust atmosphere here. Staff are very friendly and one may bawl for a Beamish. Overhead the Sheds sits the small but busy Viking Theatre.
