269) The Breffni Inn (Peacocks) of Ashtown Grove, Off Navan Road, D7

Located at a remove from the main road in a housing estate. We ran there in the midst of an unpredicted shower of snowfall (see above) and can recollect little of it but the relief of the sheltering warmth it offered. It was very large and a handsome Labrador was to be seen, scuttling around and making himself popular. Thankfully the Beamish is poured.
