337) Madigan’s of Connolly Station, Amiens Street, D1

An early-house opening at 8.30am for wayfarers waiting on trains in the station. Home to two false snugs. It was once one of the few spots in Dublin that would serve a pint on Good Friday, and traditionally did its best business on that very day, host to a captive audience who couldn't be bothered to drive to the airport or hog the theatres. But ever since Good Friday 2018 when the licensing laws changed forever and anon, that cash-cow's milk has dried up. Not much reason now for returning to it, unless commuting.
