158) Rosie O’Grady’s of 282 Harold’s Cross Road, D6W (now permanently closed)

Rosie's front.jpg

Rosie’s dead, having succumbed to property developers, and is now entirely demolished. R.I.P. The only morsel we can muster from memory is the length and darkness of the pub (but not incapable of occasionally trapping a wave of sunshine when certain mysteries aligned). It had a large portrait of the behatted Rosie over the main door, and a function room upstairs for sex-parties. We aren’t at all surprised the pub has closed, for on one sorry occasion Sean O’Rourke and his then-girlfriend each ordered a plate of 'Chicken and Chips with a Coke' - guess what the price was? THIRTY EUROS EACH!!! TALK ABOUT RIP-OFF!!!! LOLz.
